“Le Ravitaillement” newsletter
Data: your email address, the date of your request and the wording of the consent you accepted.
Purpose and legal basis: sending you the newsletter, based on your consent. Your subscription only takes effect once you click the confirmation link sent to you by email.
Retention: an unconfirmed request is deleted after 24 hours. Once confirmed, your address is kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time using the link included in every email.
Recipient: Resend, an email delivery provider based in the United States, which manages the subscriber list and sends the emails. Your data may therefore be processed outside the European Union.
Audience measurement
We count visits with Umami, a tool hosted on our own server that uses no cookies. It produces overall statistics (pages viewed, referrers, countries, device types) and is never used for advertising profiling. No data is passed on to third parties.
“Near me”
Your location is only requested after you click “Locate me”, and your browser then asks for your permission. It is neither stored nor sent to 7RUN: your browser uses it solely to query OpenStreetMap’s Overpass service (overpass-api.de) to find nearby tracks and facilities, and to display OpenStreetMap map tiles (tile.openstreetmap.org). Both services then receive your IP address and the area being searched.
Contacting the newsroom
The contact form stores nothing on the site: it opens your own email app with a pre-filled message. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.
Technical logs
Like any web server, ours records the IP address, browser, requested page and date of each request, in order to keep the site secure and diagnose faults. This log rotates continuously: only the last 2,000 requests are kept.
Settings stored in your browser
Your language, light or dark theme and list of saved articles are kept in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and you can delete them in your browser settings.
AI-assisted writing
Our summaries are written with the help of an artificial intelligence service (OpenAI), based on publicly available publications. No data about our readers is sent to it.
Fonts and resources
Fonts and the mapping library are served directly by 7run.club: your browser does not contact any third-party service to display the site.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Write to contact@7run.club; we reply within one month at most.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr), or with the supervisory authority of your country.
