Swiss, Spanish, Parisian: Lorraine Schaefer Pérez has been running since she was very young. First triathlons at 7, then the track. Her very first Instagram post, in 2014, showed a bib number, a blue track, and a personal best in the Swiss final of the 1500 metres.

Then came injuries. Ten years without running, with cycling instead.

Paris, 2023: she puts her shoes back on and falls back in love with running — and with competition. Her current personal bests: 1 h 29 min 35 s for the half marathon, 40 min 26 s for 10 kilometres. What she announces next: a new half, then the 5000 metres track the summer after next.

The other half of her story is in cinema. Trained at Cours Florent, an ambassador for Saucony, she co-wrote and co-directed the brand film Rush.
