The 2026 route does not change from last year’s, with a small adjustment described to improve flow. The start is given from Trocadéro, on the Pont d’Iéna, and the finish is on the other side of the Eiffel Tower, at Place Jacques Rueff. The route then takes in the Arc de Triomphe, Avenue Foch and a lap through the Bois de Boulogne.
The race passes several landmarks before returning towards the Eiffel Tower. Halfway through, the field will be able to see the Roland-Garros complex and then the Parc des Princes, the home of PSG. The rest of the course includes a sweep along the Seine quays, on the right bank, as far as the Louvre, before crossing Pont Royal to reach the left bank again. The final kilometres bring runners back to the Eiffel Tower.
The start is scheduled in waves, with 60 corrals counting 600 runners each, and a start every two minutes. The stated aim is to ensure excellent flow, without bottlenecks in the first kilometres and without congestion at the finish. In parallel, 45 pace-setters are announced to help runners hit their target.
Live coverage of the event is available on television. The broadcast is announced on the Ici Paris Île-de-France channel, from 8:30am to 10:30am. This time window is presented as live coverage to follow the race as it unfolds.
